The Tempest London tickets

It is such stuff as dreams are made on, award-winning theatre maker Tim Crouch brings his unique, theatrical approach to Shakespeare’s The Tempest in the candlelit Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. Playing a strictly limited run, book your official tickets today.

What is The Tempest about?

Widely considered to be Shakespeare’s last solo play, The Tempest is a masterpiece of romance, drama, and fantasy.

A boat is thrown off course when a violent storm erupts. Bloodied and beaten, the shipwrecked crew seek refuge on a remote island, but it’s not as deserted as they first imagined. Prospero, the banished Duke of Milan, has been living on the secluded rock for the past 12 years. The person who put him there, his brother Antonio, has just joined him. Using magic to exact revenge, Prospero will go to extreme lengths to right past wrongs.

Blending themes of power, betrayal, love, and forgiveness, The Tempest is anything but smooth sailing.
