Coming to the London West End’s Vaudeville Theatre for a limited season from 23 November- 23 February, Kit Harington (Game of Thrones, Doctor Faustus) and Johnny Flynn (Beast, Genius) star in Pulitzer Prize winner Sam Shepard’s searing play about family, rivalry and the desert.
Austin (Harington) and Lee (Flynn) are estranged brothers who reluctantly reunite in their mother’s home. Sibling rivalry and grudges are taken to new heights when Lee interferes with Austin’s screenwriting career. Set against the harsh heat of the California desert, the push and pull between the brothers threatens to fracture their American Dream.
Matthew Dunster directs Johnny Flynn and Kit Harington in this new West End run of Sam Shepard’s contemporary American drama. The cast is completed by Madeleine Potter (An Ideal Husband) in the role of Mom and Donald Sage Mackay (Angry Alan) in the role of Hollywood producer Saul Kimmer.
The appearance of any particular actor cannot be guaranteed.
