• Pride and Prejudice was published anonymously.  Jane Austen never published under her own name while alive, her books would only say they were “By a Lady.” 
• In one of the worst business decisions in literary history, a publisher rejected Pride and Prejudice, then called ‘First Impressions’ without even reading it! It’s safe to say, he probably regrets that decision. 
• 2025 marks Jane Austen’s 250th Birthday!
