Last night, the [**inaugural Black British Theatre Awards**](https://www.londontheatredirect.com/news/nominees-announced-for-inaugural-black-british-theatre-awards) took place in a ceremony held at The Old Finsbury Town Hall in Islington and hosted by *Strictly*'s [**Ore Oduba**](https://www.londontheatredirect.com/news/strictly-champion-ore-oduba-to-host-first-black-british-theatre-awards-bbta). The new awards show, which is the first of its kind to honour Black British talents in theatrical entertainment, closed Black History Month UK with a bang! Find out the lucky winners of the first-ever BBTAs below.
