The Wind in the Willows musical confirms run at London's Palladium

Following its highly praised pre-West End run, major new musical [The Wind in the Willows](https://www.londontheatredirect.com/musical/1269/the-wind-in-the-willows-tickets.aspx) is set to return to the **West End** in **London's Palladium Theatre**. Brought to life by
*Downton Abbey* creator **Julian Fellowes** and Olivier Award-winning songwriting team **George Stiles** and **Anthony Drewe** the much anticipated musical promises to bring "an explosion of anarchy, humour and heart to the world-famous London Palladium." Director **Jamie Hendry** has also confirmed that he will continue his pledge to ensure that local readers have access to the story by sending free copies of Kenneth Grahame's classic novel to every school and library in London
The show is slated to begin previewing 17 June 2017, opening 29 June and currently scheduled to run through 9 September 2017. While complete casting for the West End run is forthcoming, commedian, actor and presenter **Rufus Hound** is confirmed to reprise his role as Toad for the West End run. The current cast includes **David Birrell** as Badger, **Fra Fee** as Mole, **Thomas Howes** as Ratty, **Neil McDermott** as Chief Weasel and **Sophia Nomvete** as Mrs Otter. Casting for the West End run is yet to be confirmed, but will be updated as new information becomes available. This promises to be the *family friendly ticket* of the Spring!
