Martin Guerre comes to London

After the phenomenal success of [**Les Miserables**](https://www.londontheatredirect.com/musical/197/Les-Miserables-tickets.aspx) and **Miss Saigon** in the **West End**, another musical of duo **Claude-Michel Schönberg** and **Alain Boubil** returns to London.
Based on the true story of French peasant **Martin Guerre**, this musical premiered in 1996 in **West End**´s [**Prince Edward Theatre**](https://www.londontheatredirect.com/venue/10/Prince-Edward-Theatre.aspx).
Set in France, **Martin Guerre** is forced to marry girl Bertrande in order to produce Catholic heir. Soon after marriage **Martin Guerre** leaves his wife and goes to fight Protestant Hugenots.
The musical will be produced by **Cameron Mackintosh** and the London theatre where **Martin Guerre** will be performed is yet to be confirmed.
**Martin Guerre** tickets will go on sale as soon as the show will be officially announced.
