Lucie Jones returns to Les Misérables, starring as Fantine from 19 January to 11 April 2026.
Jones will star alongside Ian McIntosh (Jean Valjean), Sam Oladeinde (Javert), Adam Gillen (Thénardier), Claire Machin (Madame Thénardier), Thiago Phillip Felizardo (Marius), Amena El-kindy (Éponine), Joe Griffiths-Brown (Enjolras) and Izzi Levine (Cosette).
It may be a new year, but an old favourite is returning to the revolution. Following a very special performance at Les Misérables’ 40th anniversary last year, it has today been confirmed that [**Lucie Jones**](https://www.londontheatredirect.com/news/who-is-lucie-jones) ([*Wicked*](https://www.londontheatredirect.com/musical/wicked-tickets), *Waitress: the Musical*, *13 Going on 30 the Musical*) will reprise her role of Fantine. The Welsh wonder will be dreaming dreams of time gone by from 19 January to 11 April 2026.  This will mark Jones’ fourth turn in Boublil and Schönberg’s musical. The former Eurovision and X Factor contestant made her West End debut in Les Misérables back in 2010, playing Cosette. She then returned 11 years later to play Fantine, which she reprised in 2023.

Jones may have spent a lot of time dreaming over the past decade, but Jones hasn’t been sleeping on the job. She’s been very busy in between her stints in 19th century France, having starred as Elphaba in Wicked, Jenna in Waitress the Musical and another Jenna, Rink, in last years world premiere of 13 Going on 30 the Musical in Manchester, where she starred opposite Waitress co-star David Hunter.  For those of you who don’t know Les Misérables, the epic musical begins with a loaf of stolen bread and ends in bloodshed. A lot of things happen in between, but you’ll have to see it to find out what.  Lucie Jones joins **Ian McIntosh** as Jean Valjean, **Sam Oladeinde** as Javert, **Adam Gillen** as Thénardier, **Claire Machin** as Madame Thénardier, **Thiago Phillip Felizardo** as Marius, **Amena El-kindy** as Éponine, **Joe Griffiths-Brown** as Enjolras and **Izzi Levine** as Cosette. The cast is completed by **Hollie Aires**, **Aidan Banyard**, **Ella May** **Carter**, **Nicholas Carter**, **Matthew Dale**, **Irfan Damani**, **Lily De-La-Haye**, **Lila Falce-Bass**, **Sophie-May Feek**, **Jessica Johns-Parsons**, **Seán Keany**, **Chris Kiely**, **Sam Kipling**, **Mia Lamb**, **Sarah Lark**, **Ollie Llewelyn-Williams**, **Matthew McConnell**, **Aaron-Jade Morgan**, **Adam Pearce**, **William Pennington**, **Jordan Simon Pollard**, **Lewis Renninson**, **Danielle Rose**, **Georgia Tapp**, **Noah Thallon**, **Imaan Victoria**, and **Danny Whelan**.
