**The Kinks** musical **Sunny Afternoon** was the big winner at the **Olivier Awards 2015**, taking home a 4 awards in total.
The winners have been announced for the **2015 Olivier Awards**, the most important night in **Theatreland** which took place last night at London’s prestigious **Royal Opera House**.  **SUNNY AFTERNOON** stole the night with four Olivier Award wins.  **Dame Angela Lansbury** won the award for **Best Actress in a Supporting Role** for her performance in **Blithe Spirit**. **Penelope Wilton** and **Mark Strong** both won **Best Actress** and **Best Actor** respectively with Mark Strong's **A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE** winning three awards. Brilliant new shows **Beautiful, The Carole King Musical** and **Memphis** also won two Olivier Awards each last night. **WICKED** won the hotly contested This Morning Audience Award, the only category voted for by members of the public. **Wicked** beat out strong competition from other West End favourites **Billy Elliot**, **Matilda** and **Jersey Boys**.
